Finucane Case Review is an independent website. It is not:

  • the Pat Finucane Review (2011–2012) or its reviewer;
  • the UK Government, the Northern Ireland Office or any government department;
  • the Patrick Finucane Inquiry established under the Inquiries Act 2005;
  • the Finucane family, their lawyers, or any campaign or centre that works with them.

We do not speak for any of these people or bodies, and nothing here should be read as their view. This domain was used by the government review in 2012 and has since changed hands.

Official documents

The official Report of the Patrick Finucane Review (HC 802, 12 December 2012) is published by the UK Government on GOV.UK. Our report pages are summaries and commentary written by us. Short quotations are included for the purposes of criticism, review and reporting, are attributed, and remain Crown copyright. If our summary and the official text differ, the official text is authoritative.

Accuracy
