Safety Shawn Williams ready to practice after going physical
The Cardinals added a free receiver to the roster on Tuesday and also removed safety Shawn Williams from the active / non-football injury list after passing his physical exam.
Williams is expected to be on the training ground on Wednesday. After being placed on active / NFI on July 27, head coach Kliff Kingsbury did not disclose the injury but said he would likely be out “for a few weeks”. However, he was only on the list for eight days.

He finished the season with the Atlanta Falcons training team after being signed on December 28 and signed a forward contract with the Falcons on January 4 of this year. However, it was waived on June 17.
Dortch played two games for the Panthers in 2019 and played 17 special-team snaps. Nine of those snaps were as a punt returner as he returned four punts for 28 yards and five kickoffs for 119 yards.
Hifo (5-10, 187 de Brigham Young) signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020. He spent six days on the reserve / COVID roster early in training camp and was finally lifted on August 19.
