Connecticut to launch Auto-IRA pilot
The CRSA, a quasi-public agency headed by the co-chairs of State Comptroller Kevin Lembo and State Treasurer Denise Nappier, is the body responsible for the implementation of MyCTSavings. It was created by Public Law 16-29, codified in Conn. Gen. Stat. Chapter 574.
It seems that the deployment of MyCTSavings is happening in waves; The CRSA design and investment committee passed a motion at its July 1, 2021 meeting to put large companies in the first wave and small companies in the second. The committee did not set or refer to a timeline for these waves, nor did it define what “bigger” and “smaller” mean.
