A new book by Woodward to cover the final days of the Trump presidency
The title of the book has yet to be announced, but CNN has learned that it will be released on September 21 by Simon & Schuster, who released Woodward’s first two bestsellers on the former president.
This time around, the two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist is working with Robert Costa of the Washington Post for an in-depth look at the end of the Trump presidency and his transition to the Biden administration. According to a description by the publisher, the book will cover the first few months of the Biden presidency.
“Real power, I don’t even want to use the word fear,” Trump told Woodward and Costa in March 2016.
“I bring out the rage,” Trump also said. “I bring out the rage. I always have. I don’t know if it’s an asset or a handicap, but whatever it is, I do.”
